Most scams are pulled this way. If you book a mover by the pound, they have to(by law)weigh the truck before and after pickup a a certified weigh station…. Make sure and get copies.

Dont let them charge you Storage either,unless you requested it. Local law inforcement knows almost nothing about this. Its similar to taking a hostage except YOU PAID THEM $1,000 to never see your belongings again.They hold them Ransom
